Yeah, yummy burgers this ain&#8217;t.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Should writers promote health?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recently I wrote a &#8220;First Look&#8221; of West Cobb Diner in Marietta &#8212; a new American bistro meets meat-and-three restaurant that has proven popular with its neighbors. A friend and I cut a short swath through the menu, focusing on a few appetizers and entrees that came with enthusiastic recommendation from our waitress and seemed like they would give us a taste of the kitchen&#8217;s style.<\/p>\n<p>We ended up with a noodle salad, some mini crab cake sandwiches and three fried items.<\/p>\n<p>The next day I got this e-mail from a reader:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;With obesity\/diabetes at all time highs, it&#8217;s hard to understand why you feel it necessary to promote this type of restaurant.
