The people who work at Walmart don&#8217;t know where the chicken is from, but they will give it to you for free. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We picked up a bagged whole chicken from the poultry section.  When we went to the register to ring it up, the cashier said, &#8220;That&#8217;s odd, this isn&#8217;t ours&#8230;.it doesn&#8217;t show up on the system.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>She called a floor manager over who looked at it and said, &#8220;Huh&#8230;well do you want it?  It&#8217;s not something we sell.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<p>At which point we asked why it would be in their chicken section and they both shrugged and the manager said, &#8220;Sometimes people return stuff that isn&#8217;t ours&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>We refused the &#8220;free&#8221; chicken.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> We think you did the right thing.
