{"id":379584,"date":"2010-03-02T08:59:01","date_gmt":"2010-03-02T13:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greenenergyreporter.com\/?p=6694"},"modified":"2010-03-02T08:59:01","modified_gmt":"2010-03-02T13:59:01","slug":"bosch-solar-set-sights-on-ontario","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/379584","title":{"rendered":"Bosch Solar Set Sights On Ontario"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenenergyreporter.com\/wp-content\/themes\/v1\/img\/cat\/funding.png\" width=\"8\" height=\"8\" alt=\"\" title=\"Funding\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenenergyreporter.com\/wp-content\/themes\/v1\/img\/cat\/solar.png\" width=\"8\" height=\"8\" alt=\"\" title=\"Solar\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s Bosch Solar, a unit of the Stuttgart-based industrial conglomerate, has teamed up with Calgary-based Sustainable Energy Technologies to build a plant in Ontario that will integrate Bosch&#8217;s thin-film solar module with Sustainable Energy&#8217;s inverter technology.<span id=\"more-6694\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Botch is the latest industrial company to announce a large investment in Canada&#8217;s most populous province. <a href=\"http:\/\/greenenergyreporter.com\/2010\/01\/samsung-korea-electric-win-massive-ontario-wind-solar-contract\/#more-5739\" >Last month Samsung<\/a> of South Korea announced a $7 billion (\u20ac5.19 billion\/ \u00a34.68 billion) 2,500 megawatts wind and solar deal. Both Samsung and Botch (and a lot of other renewable energy developers) are eager to take advantage of the province&#8217;s green-energy legislation and \u00a0progressive feed-in-tariff program.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/business\/article\/773554--bosch-latest-to-tap-ontario-s-solar-market\" >Toronto Star&#8217;s Tyler Hamilton<\/a>, who was first to report on this investment, says the Bosch deal could create\u00a0750 new jobs by 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Sustainable Energy\u00a0and Bosch tell Hamilton that their plant could produce up to 70 megawatts of thin-film photovoltaic panels.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/GreenEnergyReporter\/~4\/OQzONR8zcPQ\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Germany&#8217;s Bosch Solar, a unit of the Stuttgart-based industrial conglomerate, has teamed up with Calgary-based Sustainable Energy Technologies to build a plant in Ontario that will integrate Bosch&#8217;s thin-film solar module with Sustainable Energy&#8217;s inverter technology.
