MacGruber was initially slated to open on April 23. Will Forte&#8217;s comedy action hero will now grace screens on May 21, sharing its opening day with <em>Shrek Forever After<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The news comes on the heels of some major developments for both features: Just last month, the behind <em>MacGyver <\/em>consulted attorneys in a bid to block the release of the upcoming <em>SNL<\/em> cinema spoof based on the 1980s TV series.
