Dale Risinger, to a subcommittee on &#8220;special issues.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis testified that the bill would let law-abiding residents to carry a concealed gun once they completed specific firearms training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Risinger said while the legislation was most likely &#8220;done for this session,&#8221; it would be brought up again next year.<\/p>\n<p>Illinois is one of only two states without a concealed carry permit.
