{"id":382222,"date":"2010-03-02T15:31:35","date_gmt":"2010-03-02T20:31:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/?p=2684"},"modified":"2010-03-02T15:31:35","modified_gmt":"2010-03-02T20:31:35","slug":"revisit-the-oceanaire-seafood-room","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/382222","title":{"rendered":"Revisit: The Oceanaire Seafood Room"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2685\" title=\"photo 3\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/03\/3-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"photo 3\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/>A friend recently asked me for a restaurant recommendation with these parameters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Midtown<\/li>\n<li>Going with older family members<\/li>\n<li>Price not a huge concern<\/li>\n<li>Good service<\/li>\n<li>Nothing too unusual or exotic<\/li>\n<li>Nothing too stuffy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I asked her to name a restaurant that had worked successfully for this group in the past, and she mentioned Bone&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>I fed all these criteria into the Kessler restaurant Choos-o-lator, made some robotic beeping noises, and came up with the <a href=\"http:\/\/entertainment.accessatlanta.com\/atlanta-ga\/venues\/show\/54626-oceanaire-seafood-room\"><strong>Oceanaire Seafood Room<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While I&#8217;ve never actively loved this restaurant, I&#8217;ve always found it correct at what it does. The 1930&#8217;s cruise liner decor is maybe a little kitschy but makes for a pleasing environment. I think it&#8217;s a quality operation.
