The new SPL series features a unique regenerative charging \u201cLoop Charge*3\u201d function, which enables the battery to be charged while riding, traveling downhill and decelerating. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/03\/03\/sanyo-eneloop_2_CXVEp_69.jpg\" alt=\"sanyo eneloop_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The new \u201cEco Charge Mode\u201d controls the charging rate by ascertaining overall conditions such as foot pressure on the pedals and changes in dynamotor revolution speed. Moreover, in this mode, the motor assist automatically kicks in when the rider encounters an uphill stretch, to ease the ride.
