Council will issue \u00a320 tickets to \u2018irresponsible drivers who are not considering the environment\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>They say it will help reduce <a href=\"http:\/\/nw0.eu\/tag\/carbon-dioxide-emissions\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag\" rel=\"tag nofollow\" title=\"Posts tagged with carbon dioxide emissions\">carbon dioxide emissions<\/a> and tackle <a href=\"http:\/\/nw0.eu\/tag\/climate-change\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag\" rel=\"tag nofollow\" title=\"Posts tagged with climate change\">climate change<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other councils across Britain are also considering introducing similar laws after being set air quality targets by ministers in Whitehall.<\/p>\n<p>But angry motorists claim the \u2018petty\u2019 measure is simply a
