\nKey Responsibilities and Activities
\n• Specification and technical direction of Offshore Geotechnical and Geophysical Investigations
\n• Conceptual design of offshore anemometer masts, offshore wind turbine and platform foundations
\n• Selection and co-ordination of external consulting engineers
\n• Providing engineering input to Environmental Impact Assessments
\n• Assist in development of construction strategies
\n• Assist in development of Procurement strategies<\/p>\n
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
\n• Degree in Civil Engineering (a higher degree in geotechnical engineering is an advantage but not essential)
\n• Not less than 5 years Offshore experience from either Oil & Gas industry, offshore wind or offshore site investigation industry
\n• Knowledge of Geotechnical and Geophysical investigation standards for fieldworks and laboratory testing
\n• Familiarity with Offshore operation and Maintenance issues
\n• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and in particular, Health and Safety issues offshore
