Job Purpose<\/p>\n
To manage the Development Team in the UK with the aim of developing new wind projects from signing through to gaining planning permission.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities<\/p>\n
Overall responsibility for the Development Team, to review work progress and to report to the head of the UK;<\/p>\n
Priorities the project development funnels and assign project management responsibilities
\nProduce a development strategy for each project;
\nPreparation of planning applications for designated projects;
\nManage external consultants and liaison with internal specialist team.
\nSpecialist input into parts of the environmental assessment reports prepared for each project
\nAssist the prospectors with liaison with landowners and lawyers over legal issues;<\/p>\n
Key Skills<\/p>\n
Resource management experience
\nApplied knowledge of EIA process, practice and theory
\nExperience of producing, agreeing and managing programme and project budges
\nApplied knowledge of progressing major applications through the planning system, together with an understanding of the UK Planning process, procedures and legal framework
\nProven awareness of renewable energy policy and the complexities of developing sites for wind energy
\n3 years + experience in the wind industry<\/p>\n
