The vehicle cranks out 414hp and an amazing 590 lb-ft of torque using its two electric motors for propulsion. The two motors, one for each wheel, also feature torque vectoring to improve handling.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/03\/03\/lotus-evora-414e-hybrid_2_zScNV_69.jpg\" alt=\"lotus evora 414e hybrid_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The extended range EV is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack that is good for 35 miles, after which the onboard 47hp monoblock three-cylinder gasoline engine starts to recharge the batteries.
