Verizon has confirmed that its data is down across the nation, though apparently NY is doing just fine. <strong>UPDATE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your make\/model of phone has nothing to do with the problem, as everything from Blackberries to Droids are equally affected by the outage. Those old fashioned phone calls, however, still work just fine. [<a href=\"http:\/\/forums.crackberry.com\/f156\/blackberry-outtage-3-3-2010-vzw-central-florida-431138\/#post4768573\">Crackberry<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.droidforums.net\/forum\/droid-general-discussions\/25498-no-connection.html\">DroidForums<\/a> via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2010\/03\/03\/verizon-suffering-nationwide-data-outage\/\">Engadget<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE<\/strong>: <em>According to Verizon, the outage is over.
