At least 63 people were massacred, including 33 journalists. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Aquiles Zonio<\/strong> of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, one of only three survivors, tells of his narrow escape and the continuing climate of fear.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The Philippines outgoing president, Gloria Arroyo, authorised these private armies by executive order in 2006.
