Pete Sessions (R-Texas), chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee. A Tea Party candidate&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/enr.sos.state.tx.us\/enr\/results\/mar02_148_race21.htm\">primary campaign against Sessions crashed and burned<\/a>, drawing less than 17 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n<p>And more embarrassing for Democrats: The winner of the primary to challenge Rep. Pete Olson (R-Texas), who holds a seat the party held from 2007 to 2009, is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/blogs\/bensmith\/0310\/A_Larouche_Dem_wins_Texas_primary.html?showall\">member of the Lyndon LaRouche cult<\/a>, which has pivoted sort of brilliantly from anti-Bush conspiracy theories to <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonindependent.com\/54801\/lyndon-larouche-and-the-hitler-meme\">anti-Obama conspiracy theories<\/a>.
