Dubai\u2019s police chief plans to seek the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin<\/a> Netanyahu and the head of Israel<\/a>\u2019s spy agency over the killing of a Hamas leader<\/a> in the emirate, Al Jazeera<\/a> television reported.<\/p>\n

Dahi Khalfan Tamim \u201csaid he would ask the Dubai prosecutor to issue arrest warrants for \u2026 Netanyahu and the head of Mossad,\u201d the television said. It did not give details.<\/p>\n

Tamim has said he is \u201calmost certain\u201d Israeli agents were involved in the killing of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh at a Dubai hotel in January, calling for Mossad\u2019s boss, Meir Dagan, to be arrested if it is proved responsible. Tamim said on Monday Mossad had \u201cinsulted\u201d Dubai and Western countries whose fraudulent passports were used by suspects in the assassination.<\/p>\n

Dubai has asked the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation to look into prepaid cards issued by the Meta Financial Group\u2019s MetaBank which the suspects used, a United Arab Emirates<\/a> newspaper said.<\/p>\n
