The doe-eyed brunette is the face of the British men’s mag’s Girls Of U.S. TV Special Edition, and editors used the opportunity to chat with Audrina about her start in reality TV. <\/p>\n Audrina reveals that securing a part on MTV’s The Hills<\/em> \u2013 in which she stars alongside Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt – came down to being in the right place at the right time: “I was sunbathing with my friend and this guy came over,”<\/em> she explains. “We\u2019ve had guys coming up to us and asking for our numbers so we just assumed he was one of those, but it was The Hills creator Adam DiVello and he started talking to us and said I had a great look and would I be interested in being in his show. When he mentioned it was reality TV, I was like, ‘No thank you, I\u2019m not headed in that direction,’ but then he said it was more of a soap documentary and I thought, ‘Well, it would be a good experience and get me used to being in front of the camera, so why not?’ Five years later I\u2019m still doing it.”<\/em><\/p>\n A bikini-clad Audrina Patridge poses on a sun-streamed beach for FHM UK.
