That&#8217;s what the &#8220;Half Life&#8221; lamp is, because it glows thanks to living hamster cells that have been enriched with firefly genes. Holy shit.<\/p>\n<p>The lamp, created by Joris Laarman, was created without harming any hamsters, apparently. Instead, it was created using a culture of tissue kept alive since 1957.
