We\u2019ve seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecofriend.org\/entry\/eco-motorcycles-college-student-gives-kawasaki-ninja-an-electric-engine-and-killing-looks\/\">students<\/a> try and build green motorcycles with some skill and the addition of electric engines in the past too and here\u2019s something similar again. The motorcycle pictured above has been designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenschoolmotorcycles.com\/\">Greenschool Motorcycles<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiak.no\/=eng\">Akershus University College<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/03\/05\/electric-motorcycle_2_NKwb8_69.jpg\" alt=\"electric motorcycle_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle sports a touchscreen dash powered by Ubuntu that offers stats about the bike\u2019s performance and GPS navigation as well.
