Dubbed the Wind Up Socket, the concept product automatically switches off appliances connected to it after a specified interval, preventing any waste.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/03\/06\/wind-up-socket_2_YiKSm_69.jpg\" alt=\"wind up socket_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The socket features a wind-up mechanism that can be set at an interval when the appliance is being plugged in. Once the wind-up mechanism finishes its rotation, the appliance is automatically switched off.
