Our client is expanding his activities in the area of renewable energy, especially in the off-shore wind farming industry in Germany and Europe. &nbsp;Therefore they are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who is able to lead the future growth of the business unit.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and track major projects in the Energy sector, with a specific focus on offshore wind farming in Europe<\/li>\n<li>Build long term relationships at a board level to influence decision makers.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship marketing activities, a focus on the individual, building rapport<\/li>\n<li>Client development through the direction of excellent service delivery aligned to the sale<\/li>\n<li>Selecting teams for delivery matched to the sale and service commitments, agreeing team assembly with Heads of Service in locations<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication of brief and feedback<\/li>\n<li>Increasing income from client portfolio year on year<\/li>\n<li>Deal closure and head line terms including pricing, negotiation and commercial terms and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Client feedback and subsequent action implementation<\/li>\n<li>Active member of Sector Communities, knowledge transfer<\/li>\n<li>The reinforcement of culture and appropriate behaviours<\/li>\n<li>Improving price, longevity and volume of revenue streams, setting up gross margin improvement (gross margin shared with service delivery leaders)<\/li>\n<li>Leading pricing and profit strategies on commissions.<\/li>\n<li>Leading sales (bids as appropriate) and achieving personal sales targets<\/li>\n<li>Extensive travel within Europe and UK required with possible travel to the US, Asia and the Middle East as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills \/ Experience Required<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of consultancy or value based selling in the renewable energy industry across Europe and experience selling into the Wind Farming Energy market is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track-record of successful presentation and deal close at board level<\/li>\n<li>Highly credible market profile through effective client and sales management<\/li>\n<li>Presence and credibility at all levels &#8211; energetic and motivated with natural drive and innovative flair<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read situations and adopt the right approach for the right situation.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates passion, enthusiasm and is driven to have an impact.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Desire to stretch self and achieve ambitious goals.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of complex problem solving and tendency to output thinking.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make sound judgements based on good insights and analytical rigour.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Can see issues within a wider context.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to talk openly about problems experienced and subsequent responses.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to change, adapt and learn from problems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains confidence in the face of ambiguity.
