Up next: the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/pages\/books\/review\/index.html\" title=\"New York Times Book Review\">New York Times Book Review<\/a> for e-reader. <em>NYT<\/em> marketing exec James Dunn <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poynter.org\/column.asp?id=134&amp;aid=179159\" title=\"mentioned the new subscription\">mentioned the new subscription<\/a> effort during a session of the Digital Publishing Alliance (DPA) and E-Reader Symposium, according to Poynter&#8217;s Bill Mitchell. After the session, he told Mitchell the standalone subscription should be available on Sony (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=SNE\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"SNE\">NYSE: SNE<\/a>) Digital Readers in the next couple of weeks, with Amazon (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=AMZN\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"AMZN\">NSDQ: AMZN<\/a>) Kindle and Barnes &amp; Noble (<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.paidcontent.org\/paidcontent?Page=QUOTE&#038;Ticker=BKS\" class=\"ticker\" title=\"BKS\">NYSE: BKS<\/a>) Nook versions to follow. <\/p>\n<p>Dunn didn&#8217;t share any pricing details. The Book Review is already sold as a standalone print subscription for $1.75 a week surface mail, $3.75 a week priority, which may offer some guideline. The <em>Book Review<\/em> is part of the Sunday edition via Kindle, where a monthly subscription runs $13.99; the crossword puzzle isn&#8217;t.
