The Schiff camp issued a statement tonight in response to what it calls an “attack” by Republican opponent Rob Simmons. <\/p>\n
“I’m very surprised that Rob Simmons would condone attacks by his campaign on the family members of his opponents,” Schiff campaign manager JR Romano said in the statement. “Peter has made no secret of the fact his Dad is in jail. Attacks on family members reek of desperate mudslinging.
