{"id":415878,"date":"2010-03-11T09:00:41","date_gmt":"2010-03-11T14:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/?p=2774"},"modified":"2010-03-11T09:00:41","modified_gmt":"2010-03-11T14:00:41","slug":"atlanta-2010-zagat-survey-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/415878","title":{"rendered":"Atlanta 2010 Zagat Survey released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2775\" title=\"zagat_logo\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/03\/17-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"zagat_logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>Zagat released its 20th annual survey of Atlanta restaurants yesterday, and the results are&#8230;..not very surprising.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bacchanalia<\/strong> again headed the list of 737 restaurants in the &#8220;top food&#8221; and &#8220;most popular&#8221; categories. <strong>Quinones at Bacchanalia<\/strong> got the nod for &#8220;top service,&#8221; while <strong>Nan Thai Fine Dining <\/strong>earned &#8220;top decor.&#8221; Other high-scoring restaurants include <strong>Bone&#8217;s<\/strong>, <strong>Rathbun&#8217;s<\/strong>, <strong>Aria<\/strong>, <strong>Canoe<\/strong> and <strong>Nikolai&#8217;s Roof. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In other findings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>51% of Atlantans make their reservations online, second nationally to San Francisco with 52%.<\/li>\n<li>Atlantans eat out 3.3 times a week, slightly above the national average of 3.2 times.<\/li>\n<li>The average meal here costs $31.35, significantly below the national average of $35.25.<\/li>\n<li>Significant percentages of the 2,731 survey respondents reported cutting back on alcohol, appetizers and desserts in an effort to keep meal costs down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here&#8217;s my question: Does anyone still keep a copy of the Zagat Survey in the glove compartment, or have we all moved online for our hoi &#0133;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zagat released its 20th annual survey of Atlanta restaurants yesterday, and the results are&#8230;..not very surprising.
