Conan’s going on tour! Former Tonight Show<\/em> host Conan O’Brien has announced that he’s embarking on a 30-city theater tour<\/a> sponsored by American Express. <\/p>\n

“It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house,”<\/em> Conan joked in a statement announcing the move on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Sidekick Andy Richter and the former Tonight Show<\/em> band will join the funny guy for the \u201cLegally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour” — which Conan promises will be “a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”<\/em> <\/p>\n

The tour will kick off in Eugene, Oregon on April 12. Ticket prices start at $39.50. <\/p>\n

O’Brien left NBC’s The Tonight Show<\/em> in January instead of accepting the network’s offer to move his start time back by a half-hour.<\/p>\n
