I am psyched about this. Generally speaking, SNL has sucked this season, minus Zack Galifianakis hosting last week and Pearl Jam performing this week. Now we have Betty White hosting in May &#8211; <strong><em>yay!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The May 8th episode will be a Mother&#8217;s Day special and past SNL cast members Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch will also make appearances on that particular show.<\/p>\n<p>Lorne Michaels talked about the Facebook movement in which fans of Betty White pushed for the 88-year-old comedienne to host the show:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It took on a groundswell.
