County coroner\u2019s officials said Friday that the cause of death of actor Corey Haim was still being investigated, and they declined to confirm reports that Haim had an enlarged heart, pulmonary congestion and water in his lungs when he died.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not confirming anything,\u201d said Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter. \u201cThe cause of death is still pending.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Toxicology reports could take two months, coroner\u2019s officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Winter said \u201cpreliminary [autopsy] information\u201d had been released to Judy Haim, the deceased actor\u2019s mother, and she may have released details to the media. <\/p>\n<p>According to wire reports, Judy Haim told the entertainment news show &quot;Access Hollywood&quot; that her son had an enlarged heart, pulmonary congestion and water in his lungs when he collapsed.<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press reported Friday that authorities recovered four prescription drug bottles bearing Haim\u2019s name, \u201cbut found nothing illegal while investigating his death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Haim, who was known to have battled drug addiction for years, died Wednesday at his mother\u2019s Burbank apartment.
