Pop queen Madonna and Italian fashionistos Dolce & Gabbana have joined forces on a new collection of sunglasses called MDG. <\/p>\n

“We’re so excited,”<\/em> Gabbana told Women’s Wear Daily<\/em> Monday. “This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Madge was also the face of D&G’s Spring 2010 campaign. <\/p>\n

The collection will go on sale this May at Dolce & Gabbana stores worldwide and at The Sunglass Hut! More details about the line and the ad campaign — snapped by famed fashion photog Steven Klein –are expected soon. <\/p>\n
