But as chip manufacturers continue to cram more and more circuits onto a chip the limitation of this process is rapidly being reached. Potential solutions to keep apace with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gizmag.com\/tag\/moores+law\/\" >Moore&#8217;s Law<\/a> include using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gizmag.com\/dna-scaffolding\/12568\/\" >DNA molecules as scaffolding<\/a>, replacing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gizmag.com\/graphene-interconnects-integrated-circuits\/11934\/\" >copper interconnects with graphene<\/a> and using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gizmag.com\/dna-scaffolding\/12568\/\" >plasma beams<\/a>.
