Drinking makes the Irish more aggressive! | Discoblog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7435\" title=\"irishyoga\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/discoblog\/files\/2010\/03\/irishyoga1-300x137.jpg\" alt=\"irishyoga\" width=\"300\" height=\"137\"\/>Cross-cultural comparisons of Irish and American adolescent drinking practices and beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The drinking behavior and alcohol expectancies of 168 Irish adolescents aged 15-18 were compared with those of a group of American adolescents matched on age and sex. The Irish adolescents reported less frequent social drinking and less problematic drinking.
