A children\u2019s talent competition, the show is a true celebration of African children born and\/or living in the United States who dedicate some time after school to learn or develop any artistic skills. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Garamond; font-size: medium;\">Organized by <strong>Racines Heritage Foundation<\/strong> (<strong>RHF<\/strong>), Talent-ED aims to raise funds and generate support for the Racines Heritage Scholarship Program, awarding scholarships to orphans and children in poverty-stricken communities in Africa. It is an event for empowerment, compassion and solidarity.\u00a0 <\/span><span id=\"more-9990\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Garamond; font-size: medium;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.talentedcompetition.com\/\" >Talent-ED<\/a> will be held on Saturday July 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Silver Spring Maryland, from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Garamond; font-size: medium;\">All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be allocated to <strong>RHF<\/strong> scholarship program. <strong>RHF<\/strong> will also hold a school supply drive during the event.
