The Lady Hawks got off to a great start for the 2010 season by sweeping visiting Morton College in a doubleheader, 14-2 and 21-3.<\/p>\n

In the opening contest, Becky Koeune (1-0) picked up the win. Leading the way on offense were Alyssa Collins (3-4, 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 stolen bases and 5 RBIs), Katrina Grande ( 3-4, 1 double, 2 singles, 2 stolen bases and 3 RBIs), Julie Escareno (3-4, 3 singles and 1 RBI) and Sam Calandra (3-4, 3 singles and 2 RBIs).<\/p>\n
