They then attached antibodies, which target a molecule found only in&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.interndaily.com\/reports\/Smart_Nanoparticles_Could_Identify_Target_And_Kill_Cancer_Cells_999.html##\" >colorectal&nbsp;cancer<\/a>&nbsp;cells, to the particles. It is biocompatible, inert and relatively easy to tweak chemically.
