This speed sensor in M12-thread design, offers simultaneous detection of rotational speed and rotation direction.<br \/>\nThe features of the new sensor are as follows:<br \/>\n&#8211; M12 x 1 housing<br \/>\n&#8211; M12 connector integrated into sensor housing<br \/>\n&#8211; Total length 70 mm<br \/>\n&#8211; IP67 protection class<br \/>\n&#8211; Withstands temperatures up to 125\u00b0C <\/p>\n<p>Hall-effect sensors are well suited for precise measurement of rotational speeds on ferromagnetic structures. These may be both traditional gear wheels or  other geometric shapes. With two-channel sensors, rotation direction can be detected as well as rotational speed. The outputs of the sensor are two phase-shifted square-wave signals. <\/p>\n<p>The sensor housing takes the form of a thread sensor and is in high-strength stainless steel. The connection interface is designed compatible to standard M12. connectors.<\/p>\n<p>With its thread-sensor design the device can be used with different insertion depths and offers substantially more flexibility in this regard than does a flange sensor.
