Egger is founder and President of the D.C. Central Kitchen,
\nthe nation’s first “community kitchen,” where
\n\tunemployed men and women learn marketable culinary skills while donated
\n food is converted into balanced meals. Since opening in
\n\t1989, the DCCK has distributed over 20 million meals and helped 700 men
\n and women gain full-time employment.<\/p>\n

Robert currently leads the V3
\nCampaign<\/a>, which educates politicians to the economic
\n\tcontributions of America’s nonprofit sector.
\n\tRobert speaks nationally and internationally on hunger and
