S&amp;P 500 futures are down 1 point in pre-opening trade. Index futures are responding to slight strength in the U.S Dollar and slight weakness in the Euro. Commodities priced in U.S. Dollars including crude oil, gold, silver and copper are trading slightly lower. <\/p>\n<p>The Canadian Dollar weakened slightly following news that Canada\u2019s leading economic indictors rose 0.8% in February. Consensus was a gain of 0.9%. <\/p>\n<p>Quadra Mining has offered to acquire FNX Mining in a friendly share exchange deal. Each FNX Mining share is to be exchanged into 0.9 Quadra Mining shares.
