{"id":464688,"date":"2010-03-24T02:04:01","date_gmt":"2010-03-24T06:04:01","guid":{"rendered":"tag:www.vegan-food.net:\/\/f1da2153f41c1f7bd54912a86490a95a"},"modified":"2010-03-24T02:04:01","modified_gmt":"2010-03-24T06:04:01","slug":"hoisin-stir-fry-with-crispy-seaweed-noodles-noodles-rice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/464688","title":{"rendered":"Hoisin Stir-fry with Crispy Seaweed Noodles( Noodles &#8211; Rice )"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Daily Random Recipe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul><UL><\/p>\n<li>Vegetable oil for deep-frying\n<li>250 g \/ 9 oz rice noodles\n<li>2 dried nori sheets, shredded\n<li>1 large red chilli, halved, deseeded and sliced\n<li>1 T mixed black and white sesame seeds (furikake)\n<li>3 T sesame oil\n<li>350 g \/ 12.3 oz small broccoli florets\n<li>250 g \/ 9 oz baby corn, halved lengthwise\n<li>2 garlic cloves, crushed\n<li>5 cm \/ 2 inch piece of fresh ginger, finely grated\n<li>6 heads pak choi (or bok choy\/Chinese cabbage), halved lengthwise\n<li>1 bunch of spring onions, diagonally sliced\n<li>100 ml \/ 3.4 fl oz hoisin sauce\n<li>2 T soy sauce<br \/>\n<\/UL><\/ul>\n<p \/><strong>METHOD:<\/strong><br \/>Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the noodles, nori and chilli &#8211;<br \/>\nthe noodles with immediately puff up and become crisp. Remove<br \/>\nwith a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Toss with the<br \/>\nsesame seeds and set aside. <\/p>\n<p>\nHeat sesame oil in a large wok or frying pan and stir fry the<br \/>\nbroccoli for 2 minutes. Add the corn, garlic, ginger, pak choi<br \/>\nand spring onions and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the<br \/>\nhoisin sauce and soy sauce and pour over the vegetables. Bring<br \/>\nto the boil and toss to coat. Serve immediate with the deep<br \/>\nfried noodle mixture piled on top. <\/p>\n<p \/><strong>NOTES:<\/strong><br \/>Mr Falafel posted this recipe 18 months ago and I just<br \/>\ngot around to trying it. It was really good!
