Bodine Electric Company is pleased to introduce the new WX gearhead in conjunction with a new 3-wire-reversible 34R frame (100 mm), 1\/7HP, single phase AC induction motor. The 34R-WX delivers up to 50% more torque than previous models, it is designed to provide longer life and higher performance than other gearmotors in the same size package.<\/p>\n
Gearmotor features include:<\/p>\n
-High-performance, single phase 4-inch diameter (100 mm), 1\/7 HP (107 Watts) motors
\n-Rugged, all steel helical gears meet or exceed AGMA-9 standards for longest life, and quiet operation.
\n-Synthetic lubrication allows these gearheads to operate over a wide temperature range.
\n-Can be configured to 3-hole mounting pattern via a simple bolt-on adaptor (Bodine model 0995).
\n-12 new gear ratios available with this new 3-wire reversible, fixed speed, AC motor. Gear ratios range from 4:1 to 312:1.
\n-Coming soon — the WX will also be available with Bodine Electric’s line of variable speed, permanent magnet DC (PMDC) and brushless DC (BLDC) motors. <\/p>\n
These new stock models can also be configured to feature a 3-hole mounting pattern via a simple bolt-on adaptor plate (Bodine model 0995). The WX gearhead is the first gearhead to be paired with Bodine’s new 3-wire reversible 34R, permanent split capacitor, motor winding. The three-wire configuration simplifies connection, and makes reversing the motor’s direction simply a matter of switching the position of two leads. This new winding can also operate at 50 Hz by utilizing a different value run capacitor. A new 230VAC, 50\/60Hz, 1-phase, 3-wire reversible winding is also available for custom configurations. WX models are designed to drive a variety of applications, including conveyor systems, packaging equipment, medical devices, metering pumps, and commercial appliances.<\/p>\n
