In addition to offering priced-right bowls [$4.99-$5.50], chow mein meals [$4.99-$6.99]\u00a0and signature dishes [$5.99-$8.50] like orange chicken, beef and broccoli, pepper steak and mushroom chicken, the Juang&#8217;s cook up a variety of entree salads, rotating side dishes, appetizers and soups.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2232\" title=\"Hsin_Cafe\" src=\"http:\/\/www.downtownphoenix.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Hsin_Cafe1.jpg\" alt=\"Hsin_Cafe\" width=\"192\" height=\"144\" \/>&#8220;These are Americanized versions of our traditional Chinese family recipes,&#8221; said Ben Juang [picture at left with brother Jack and\u00a0store manager\u00a0Chu-Kuei Ho]. &#8220;So far the response has been very good.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>One\u00a0early menu favorite is the beef stew bowl\u00a0[$5.99]\u00a0 which features\u00a0chunks of meat so tender and so flavorful you&#8217;ll swear your wallet should be lighter than it is. It&#8217;s really unlike anything I&#8217;ve ever tasted and as filling as the day is long.\u00a0Other hearty bowls include teriyaki chicken, curry chicken\u00a0(Ben says to think more Indian-style curry than Thai curry)\u00a0and Chinese BBQ pork.<\/p>\n<p>Hsin, which in Chinese means &#8220;prosper,&#8221; is the first name of Ben and Jack&#8217;s father and their\u00a0restaurant is a tribute to their parents&#8217; dedication to the family.
