The 2011 Porsche Cayenne SUV will make its stateside debut next week at the 2010 New York Auto Show. The first production hybrid model from Porsche, the new Cayenne S Hybrid, will make its world debut in New York.<\/p>\n

The North American Cayenne model range will include four models: the 2011 Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo and the Cayenne S Hybrid.<\/p>\n

The Cayenne S and Turbo models will go on sale in July, with the Cayenne and Cayenne S Hybrid will reach dealer showrooms this fall.<\/p>\n

Pricing for all models will be announced closer to launch dates.<\/p>\n

Refresher<\/strong>:\u00a0The 2011 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid is powered by a 333-hp 3 liter supercharged V6 gasoline engine mated to a 47-hp electric-motor, allowing it to produce a total output of 380-hp and a maximum torque of 427 b-ft. Porsche says that that allows the same performance level of a V8 engine while increasing fuel-economy by 20 percent.<\/p>\n
