The key for this innovative product is the FOX-1D multilayer mirror providing a uniquely brilliant line-profile focus (>10 photons\/s, half-width <0.3mm). An attractive range of new applications can be covered by this solution, such as:\n- large-area integration GISAXS and relectometry for the rapid structure screening of thing films – typical exposure times < 5 mintues\n- high-throughput pore analysis in meso- or microporous materials\n- Particle sizing in very dilute systems or nanoparticles in vapour phase.\nThe changeover from point to line focus is extremely simple: all that is needed is to exchange the mirror boxes within the same prealigned system. The fact that tis uses the same x-ray microsource makes it a very economical solution in comparison to other configurations which employ two different x-ray tubes. \nSummarized, the S3-MICROpixDF is:\n - Uniquely brilliant\n - Extremely simple\n - Very economical\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Joint technology development with Xenocs, Grenoble.
