{"id":473829,"date":"2010-03-26T04:30:42","date_gmt":"2010-03-26T08:30:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/firedoglake.com\/?p=75152"},"modified":"2010-03-26T04:30:42","modified_gmt":"2010-03-26T08:30:42","slug":"have-fun-keeping-your-share-of-the-tlc-swag-from-the-duggars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/473829","title":{"rendered":"Have fun keeping your share of the TLC Swag from the Duggars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There were stories circulating this week that somehow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/hr\/content_display\/news\/e3i21cea1586dd4edf544f940a674a874b5\">super-grifter<\/a> Sarah Palin&#8217;s &#8220;alternative reality show&#8221; <em>Baked Alaska<\/em> was somehow going to end up on the <em>Discovery Channel<\/em>.  <a href=\"http:\/\/static1.firedoglake.com\/1\/files\/2010\/03\/palin-dinosaur.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-75167\" title=\"palin-dinosaur\" src=\"http:\/\/static1.firedoglake.com\/1\/files\/2010\/03\/palin-dinosaur-115x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"115\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>The same channel that has given you &#8220;<em>Planet Earth<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;<em>Life<\/em>&#8220;, shows featuring the undeniable power of the evolutionary process, was going to give you someone who thinks the first Kentucky Derby winner rode a Jesus-Horse.<\/p>\n<p>But alas, you cannot schedule Sarah Palin before or after &#8220;<em><a href=\"http:\/\/dsc.discovery.com\/tv\/mythbusters\/\">Mythbusters<\/a><\/em>&#8221; so Discovery shuttled her off to <a href=\"http:\/\/tlc.discovery.com\/\">lesser-light TLC<\/a>, the network that brings you such quality programming as<a href=\"http:\/\/tlc.discovery.com\/tv\/hoarding-buried-alive\/\"> <em>&#8216;Hoarding: Buried Alive<\/em>&#8216;<\/a>, &#8216;<em><a href=\"http:\/\/tlc.discovery.com\/tv\/little-people-big-world\/\">Little People, Big World<\/a><\/em>&#8216;, and the <em>Duggars <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">15<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">16<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">17<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">18<\/span>, <a href=\"http:\/\/tlc.discovery.com\/tv\/duggars\/19-kids-and-counting.html\">19 and Counting<\/a><\/em>.
