Most carriers offer three-way, or conference, calling on their phone plans. But do you ever use it? Until yesterday I had never used the three-way calling feature on my BlackBerry. I’ve called into conferences — we all have I’m sure — and I’ve had people call me as a third party in a conversation, but I never had to do it myself. Thankfully, it’s fairly easy on the BlackBerry. It takes just a few clicks while you’re on the phone, and you can easily reach anyone as a third party to your conversation.<\/p>\n

Once you’re on the main call, press the Menu button, then select Add Participant. That will bring you to your call log screen. You can select a recent number from there, or enter in a number if need be. If you want to call someone from your address book, click Menu again and select Call from Contacts. That will bring up your address book. Just select the appropriate contact and press the Send button. Thankfully, this is one of the easier tasks on your BlackBerry.<\/p>\n
