The move sees Germany win in a standoff to make sure the EU didn&#8217;t have to control the entire bailout.<\/li>\n<li>GDP has been revised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/us-stock-futures-slightly-pare-gains-after-gdp-revised-lower-2010-03-26\">downward<\/a> from 5.9% to 5.6 % for Q4 2009. Economists expected the revision to be downward, but only to 5.8%. This has led to Gold ($3.60) and Crude ($.56) are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/crude-oil-gold-higher-after-q4-gdp-revision-2010-03-26\">rising<\/a> on these numbers.<\/li>\n<li>The government&#8217;s update to the mortgage plan calls for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/white-house-to-expand-mortgage-relief-program-2010-03-26\">principle write down<\/a> of housing assets for individuals over a three year period. Incentives are being provided to banks to do this, but there is some skepticism about how it will force banks to make these write downs.<\/li>\n<li>The Man Group is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/the-man-group-wants-a-longshort-equity-shop-looks-into-merger-with-hedge-funds-sac-capital-and-millenium-2010-3\">looking to acquire<\/a> another hedge fund for the purpose of diversifying its profile. Targeted are SAC Capital and Millennium, because of their expertise in the long\/short equity space.<\/li>\n<li>Apple executives have moved to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/apple-executives-sell-1-million-shares-of-stock-2010-3\">sell<\/a> over 1 million shares of stock over the past two days.
