On the other hand, the poll found that FoMoCo is the most popular vehicle manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>Bloomberg,<\/em> more than four in ten Americans say they &#8220;would definitely not buy a Toyota&#8221; vehicle. The brand is viewed unfavorably by 36 percent of those surveyed, the highest negative rating in the poll.<\/p>\n<p>Ford is seen favorably by 77 percent of those surveyed, coming in ahead of Honda (which was at No. 2) by seven percentage points. General Motors has a positive rating of 57 percent.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-53797\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the short term, they need to focus on the people that have recently changed their minds about the company,\u201d said Rebecca Lindland, an auto analyst at IHS Global Insight in Lexington, Massachusetts. \u201cIn the long term, it could be quite different.
