There were no reports of injuries or damage. It was one of several small quakes to hit the coastal region.<\/p>\n<p>The quake&#8217;s epicenter was seven miles west of San Miguel Island and 18 miles west of Santa Rosa Island (that&#8217;s about 125 miles from downtown Los Angeles). <\/p>\n<p>The quake was originally believed to have measured magnitude 3.5, but it was downgraded.<\/p>\n<p> The U.S. Geological Survey got a handful of reports of people feeling the quake as far away as Los Angeles.
