{"id":482299,"date":"2010-03-28T15:21:13","date_gmt":"2010-03-28T19:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"tag:typepad.com,2003:post-6a00d8341c630a53ef0133ec487113970b"},"modified":"2010-03-28T16:38:36","modified_gmt":"2010-03-28T20:38:36","slug":"little-armenia-shooting-death-probed-for-link-to-unsolved-2008-double-homicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/482299","title":{"rendered":"Little Armenia shooting death probed for link to unsolved 2008 double homicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<div xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xhtml\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Authorities continued Sunday to investigate the Little Armenia<br \/>\nshooting death of a 38-year-old woman whose murder is believed to be connected<br \/>\nto an unsolved 2008 double homicide. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p><\/o:p>Officers responding to a call in the 5800 block of Lexington<br \/>\nAvenue about 8:20 p.m. Friday discovered Karine Hakobyan\u2019s body in the<br \/>\ndriver\u2019s seat of her Honda CRV, Los Angeles police said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Homicide detectives determined that Hakobyan was a relative<br \/>\nof <a href=\"http:\/\/projects.latimes.com\/homicide\/post\/khachik-safaryan\/\" title=\"Khachik Safaryan homicide\">Khachik Safaryan<\/a>, 43, and his 8-year-old daughter <a href=\"http:\/\/projects.latimes.com\/homicide\/post\/lusine-safaryan\/\" title=\"Lusine Safaryan homicide\">Lusine<\/a>, who were<br \/>\nfound shot to death Dec. 11, 2008, inside their home in the 1200 block of<br \/>\nTamarind Avenue. No one has been charged with their murders. Hakobyan\u2019s vehicle<br \/>\nwas found about two blocks away from Safaryan\u2019s home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Robbery-homicide detectives with the Los Angeles Police<br \/>\nDepartment are investigating the case. Anyone with information about this<br \/>\nincident is asked to call (877) LAPD-24-7.
