Data acquisition and analysis capabilities will also have to function with the asset from factory to launch environments without losing the desired monitoring capabilities.\u00a0 The desired system application will focus on large-scale, monolithic or segmented SRM\u2019s with relevance to strategic, space launch, and ballistic missile applications. The technology is anticipated to be readily transferred to smaller scale systems in tactical applications; however, the focus of this effort is on large-scale systems. It is expected that this project will encompass multiple awards, some of which may be to small businesses with specialized expertise; therefore, the Integrated Product Team (IPT) process, which involves participants from all contractors and led by the government, will be critical to the success of the development and integration of the system.
