News wires are so convinced that Lohan’s lifestyle will be the death of her, they’ve resorting to a controversial time-saving practice they implemented when Elizabeth Taylor began experiencing health problems in the 1980s, and as recently as 2007, after Britney Spears’ emotional breakdown prompted questions about her own future: getting together an obit.<\/p>\n

“News outlets need to be prepared. However shocking a story it might be, they are in the business of breaking news fast and any preparation that can be done ahead of time is them just simply doing their jobs,”<\/em> a senior producer at a major news outlet reportedly told PopEater’s Rob Shuter<\/a> this week. “We all scrambled when Brittany Murphy and Heath Ledger died and don’t want that to happen again…”<\/em><\/p>\n

Over the last few days, Lindsay’s seemingly endless downward spiral appears to have sped up.
