Saute in a bit of olive oil, then cover with vegetable stock and bring to a boil. add a bay leaf or two, some salt and pepper, some sage or savory or maybe some thyme and simmer until veggies are cooked. For a chicken-y effect, toss in some small chunks of TVP. You can also add some greens to this if you are so inclined; I quite like baby bok choy added to this soup.<\/p>\n<p \/><strong>NOTES:<\/strong><br \/>This may not get rid of your cold symptoms, but it will make you feel better for a little bit.
