Citing the <em>increased<\/em> importance of its Xperia brand as embodies in its X10 series, the company has now decided to move the content over to its product blog.<\/p>\n<p>With the heavy emphasis on the Xperia X10 one wonders if the blog\u2019s promises to support the Xperia X2 will also similarly vanish.\u00a0 An update to the little known <a href=\"http:\/\/wmpoweruser.com\/?tag=windows-mobile-65\" >Windows Mobile 6.5<\/a>.2 <a href=\"http:\/\/xperiancers.com\/2010\/02\/02\/xperia-x2-software-support-schedule\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed:+Xperiancers+(Xperiancers)\" >has been promised in February this year<\/a> to arrive in March, leaving SE with only 1.5 days to make good on it, which seems rather unlikely.\u00a0 In that context a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 upgrade in May, also promised by Sony Ericsson on the Xperiancers blog, seems even less so.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully the company will still make good on its promises, and not repeat its X1 mistake, which it itself acknowledged \u201c<em>attracted some criticism<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>Thanks<\/em> <strong>Mitch<\/strong> <em>for the tip.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sony Ericsson is shutting down its Xperiancers\u00a0 blog.
